3M launches a Sustainable Range of Films – The “Envision” Brand

March 31, 2017, Bangalore: In an increasingly eco-conscious marketplace, organizations are becoming more aware of the impact of sustainable practices. With over 25 years of partnership with brands & designers in India, 3M went a step ahead and launched the Envision Range of Print Films: a sustainable range of graphic materials. These are branding solutions that would enable companies that are striving towards strong environmental credentials to achieve their sustainability promise and goals.

With declining air-quality in India, products contributing to healthier indoor air quality is of utmost necessity for architects, building owners and graphics installers. Envision Series is a recipient of the prestigious UL GREENGUARD GOLD certification, awarded to products passing strict testing standards for low emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into indoor environments and thus contributes to healthier interior air quality. Also, the Envision Range of Print films qualify as low-emitting materials under the LEEDv4 standard and can help contribute to LEED credits.

The Envision Print films are Non-PVC, phthalate-free and manufactured with no added chlorine or halogens and 58 per cent less solvents than conventional films, and is also recyclable. At the same time, printability, ease of application and durability are equal to or better than the current range, thereby ensuring no performance trade-offs in exchange for improved environmental performance.
