Greater demand for EVs among corporates
Bangalore: Lithium Urban Technologies, India’s first all-electric mobility solution, is looking to hire 500 drivers in Bangalore, in order to cater to growing demand for electric vehicles by corporates. Currently, corporates are benefitting from Lithium’s 500 drivers working in Bangalore. In order to increase the fleet of their air-conditioned, automatic, all electric vehicles, they aim to hire 500 drivers who are capable, reliable and can ensure safety of the passengers.
The organisation recognizes the hard work put in by drivers and strives to make coming to work enjoyable. The drivers at Lithium earn upwards Rs. 22,500 and can increase depending on their capabilities. They get additional referral and attendance bonus. Additionally, drivers are provided with health insurance and partial/full education scholarship for the girl child. The fixed working hours along with the incentive to lead a team adds to the benefits of working at Lithium.
The applicants will have to undergo screening test which includes two levels of background check –digital footprint and police verification.
The criteria for hiring would be based on the experience and background along with references. The drivers undergo a rigorous training programme, consisting of a practical training, and a theory class. Training includes chauffer training, defensive driving, crisis management and other requirements. A driving test is held on the final day of the training programme.
Lithium has a Driver Happiness Index to measure the satisfaction with an average rating of 4.7 of 5.
